Shantipur has been the center of Sanskrit education and literature, Vedic texts, and scriptures since the ninth century. It is located in the Ranaghat subdivision of the district and is about 18 km. Away from Krishnanagar. The mosque consists of a large dome and eight minarets. The Shyam Chand templewas  built in the traditional “Atchala” style.  The Jaleshwar temple with its exquisite terracotta designs, and the Advaita Prabhu temple is notable temples in Shantipur. 5. Krishnagar Rajbari

Krishnanagar Rajbari is the Nadia District, headquarters located on the banks of the river Jalangi. Krishnanagar is named after King Krishna Chandra Roy (1826-182).
